passionate and self-motivated professional with experience in
transport planning, to join the Road Access and Planning team based
in the Don Aitken Centre, East Perth. This role requires the
ability to interpret and apply planning legislation and standards,
and whilst not essential, a degree in urban planning, engineering
or other relevant discipline is desirable.This position is
responsible for providing specialist technical advice and guidance
on a range of transport planning issues. This role would suit an
experienced professional who thrives in a challenging and diverse
work environment which is undergoing transformational change. This
role is responsible for undertaking the assessment and review of
planning referrals for development applications, subdivision
applications, structure plans, and planning schemes. Knowledge and
experience in interpreting and applying legislation, policies,
procedures, and standards specific to transport planning is
desirable.The successful candidate will possess the following
