Job Description:

ALTA IT is looking for a strong Corporate Events Planner and Project Manager. This project will take a year to start and will work on planning an 800-person event in October 2025. This remote role requires someone in the eastern or central time zones.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent in Event Planning, Outreach, Marketing, or a related discipline, and the following:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to develop and manage project plans, keeping events and staff on budget, on time, and accountable.
• Ability to modify current in-person events (content and technology) to facilitate remote participation.
• Familiarity with managing a budget.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Knowledge of meeting planning tools, such as CVENT and Eventbrite.
• Knowledge of online meeting technologies, such as Webex and Teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across groups.
• Ability to work remotely, as needed.
• Positive attitude, strong initiative, friendly and engaging personality.
