Description: Position Overview:
The Entry-Level Door Production Worker is responsible for supporting the assembly and production of doors in a manufacturing environment. This individual will assist in various stages of production, including door assembly, machine operation, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position is designed for individuals who wish to gain hands-on experience in woodworking and manufacturing, with comprehensive training provided. Prior experience is not required, though carpentry skills or manufacturing experience is beneficial. Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Assistance: Assist in the door assembly process, ensuring that doors are produced in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Machine Operation: Operate cutting and milling machines to perform door shaping, modification tasks, and other production-related activities as directed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished doors and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, identifying any defects and ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring that tools, machines, and equipment are properly cleaned and stored according to safety protocols.
  • Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring that work areas meet OSHA standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals, ensuring timely and efficient workflow throughout the production process.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks related to production as assigned by the Production Supervisor to support overall production needs.Requirements:Qualifications:Education: No formal education is required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or a similar manufacturing role is beneficial but not necessary.
    • Skills:
      • Basic knowledge of power tools, measuring equipment (e.g., tape measure), and other hand tools used in the production process.
      • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
      • Strong attention to detail to ensure the precision and quality of the final product.
      • Physical Requirements:
        • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 25 pounds.
        • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and handle materials for extended periods of time.
        • Ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, and balancing during machine operation and material handling.
        • Work Environment:
          • The position is in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and mechanical equipment.
          • Appropriate PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times to ensure safety.
          • Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Additional Information:
          • Work Schedule: The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute rest breaks.Job Purpose:
            The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the production of high-quality doors by contributing to various stages of production, operating equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that finished products meet established quality standards.


            Compensation details: 16-18 Hourly Wage
